Since 1987,
Oliver „4-wheel“ Allwardt , is the leadvoice of GRAND SLAM. The new album is a definite proof that there could be no better choice for the leadmicrophone.
He is perfectly complemented by
Eric „Shraah“ Rohner , passionate musician from Bern. The singer and saxophone player already worked with the French P-funk legend Malka Family, the British Afrobeat Orchestra, led by worldmusic star Dele Sosimi, and his own ensemble In Effect. myspace
With new entrant
Palmer „Papa Joe“ Murphy, GRAND SLAM’s vocal section is complete. The singer from Tulsa, Oklahoma has been working with various reggae groups.
Toby Mayerl founding member and composer, keeps it all together as head on synthesizers, organ and vocoder. His funky delivery is stamped with soundcolour-extravaganza and extraordinary rhythmical textures. He has shared the stage with the likes of Bootsy Collins, Larry Graham and Bernie Worrell.
Michael „Dandy“ Dandorfer enjoys a good reputation as a brilliant and versatile guitarist who has been entertaining the funk crowd for many years.
Frank „P-Frank“ Holderied recently joined the band in October 2006. The funky and versatile drummer is well known for being the rhythmical backbone for Ska-Legend SKAOS amongst many others. myspace

“Luscious“ Lutz J. Mays. His numerous engagements for the likes of „Chris Thompson“, „Carey Bell“ and „John Davis“ confirm that he is one of the most wanted musicians for e-bass and double bass in South-Germany. personal site myspace

Ralf "RPM" Ritter, who uses his turntables as two instruments, also comes a good deal of hip-hop to GRAND SLAM. Razor-sharp Jugglin Cuts & Scratches and funky beat ', tight and funky to the point.
